  1. Go to belavia.by (English site: en.belavia.by) and open the 'Booking status' section from the top menu or the widget on the homepage.
  2. Enter your reservation code (6-letter) or ticket number and your last name exactly as written on the ticket, then search.
  3. Open your booking and select the paid service for carrying extra baggage (additional piece of checked baggage).
  4. Choose the number of extra pieces you need and complete payment online.
  5. The service can also be added during the ticket purchase flow on the website; after payment, a receipt is issued for the service at the point of purchase.

On flights with other carriers, including codeshare flights, excess baggage rates are determined in accordance with the rules of the dominant carrier. The extra baggage tariffs apply to direct and transfer flights where Belavia is the operating carrier for the entire route; for transfers, the tariff of the higher-priced segment applies to the whole route.

Can I get a refund for purchased extra baggage?

Yes. The service is refundable even after the flight has departed, if it has not been used; refunds are made at the point of purchase in the currency and form of payment shown on the receipt. If a ticket is reissued (date/flight/route change), the service is reissued too, and any tariff increase is charged.

Are there any important restrictions or exceptions?

Service availability may be limited on some flights. If at check-in an extra piece for which the service was purchased exceeds the weight and/or dimensions, the full fee for that excess piece is charged at offline rates and the previously issued service is refunded.
