Steps
- Go to cebupacificair.com and open 'Manage Booking' (or open the Cebu Pacific app and go to Manage Booking). Log in with your MyCebuPacific account — an account is required to make booking changes.
- Tap 'Manage' to access your booking. If you cannot locate it, add or link the booking to your account first.
- On desktop, click 'Add or upgrade bags' under 'Customize your trip'; on the mobile app, tap 'Manage add-ons' under 'Modify flight', then tap 'CEB Baggage' on the Add-ons page.
- Choose the flight you want to buy baggage for — use the 'Select for both flights' toggle to buy for both legs of a round trip — then choose whether to buy for all passengers or per passenger.
- Tap 'Add baggage' to add up to 3 pieces (each has a 20 kg base allowance), then upgrade each piece by 4 kg, 8 kg, or 12 kg as needed.
- Review your selections for all flights and proceed to payment; the added baggage allowance is applied to your booking right away.

Prepaid baggage weight upgrade (+4 kg / +8 kg / +12 kg)
Upgrade the weight of each prepaid 20 kg piece by 4 kg, 8 kg, or up to 12 kg, charged at the per-4 kg rate shown (e.g. a +8 kg domestic upgrade costs 2 x PHP 700). Maximum 32 kg per piece; upgrading weight does not change the number of pieces allowed.

Excess baggage at the airport (per kg)
When a bag exceeds the purchased weight limit, excess weight is charged per kilogram at the airport; the same per-kg rates apply to CEB Special Baggage pieces over 20 kg. Rates are subject to change without prior notice.

CEB Special Baggage
Add-on for sports equipment (bicycles, golf, bowling, fishing, scuba), surfboards, musical instruments, religious items, oversized bags (e.g. balikbayan boxes) and firearms. Per piece, per sector, max 20 kg; if the item exceeds 20 kg the excess baggage fee applies. Purchasable only through the Cebu Pacific mobile app up to 2 hours before departure.

Can I buy extra baggage online after booking?
Yes. Add CEB Baggage pieces and weight upgrades through Manage Booking on cebupacificair.com or in the Cebu Pacific app up to 2 hours before departure. Up to 3 extra pieces per passenger can be purchased online; more than 3 must be bought at the airport for a fee.
Where do I buy extra baggage?
In Manage Booking on the website ('Add or upgrade bags') or in the Cebu Pacific app ('Manage add-ons' → 'CEB Baggage'), or on the add-ons page at the time of booking. CEB Special Baggage (sports equipment, surfboards, oversized items) is only available in the Cebu Pacific mobile app. Airport purchase is possible but more expensive.
When is the deadline to buy extra baggage online?
Add or upgrade baggage up to 2 hours before your flight's scheduled departure via Manage Booking; no booking changes are possible within 2 hours of departure. Buying in advance is cheaper than paying at the airport.
Is it cheaper to buy extra baggage online in advance vs at the airport?
Yes. A 20 kg piece costs PHP 1,000 / PHP 2,000 / PHP 3,000 (domestic / short haul / long haul) prepaid online, versus PHP 2,500 / PHP 3,500 / PHP 6,000 at the airport or gate — airport rates are 1.75x (short haul) to 2.5x (domestic) higher.
How many extra bags can I buy, and what are the bag limits?
Up to 3 extra pieces per passenger online or in the app; each piece has a 20 kg base allowance and can be upgraded to 32 kg. Checked bag size limit is 99 cm x 99 cm x 99 cm; larger items need the CEB Special Baggage add-on or CEB Cargo. Hand carry is 7 kg total: one overhead item within 56 x 36 x 23 cm plus one personal item within 20 x 20 x 36 cm.

Can I get a refund or transfer prepaid baggage if I cancel or change my booking?
Pre-purchased baggage and add-ons are non-cancelable, non-transferable and non-refundable. They carry over to your new flight if you rebook, if your flight is changed by more than 1 hour, or if your flight is cancelled and you move to a different flight. In case of flight disruptions, unused CEB Special Baggage may be refunded or stored in a Travel Fund.
Are there important exceptions or restrictions I should know?
CEB Special Baggage availability is limited, especially on Cebgo (DG) flights. Firearms travel as checked baggage on domestic flights only (max 5 kg, with valid license and permits; uniformed personnel with a Valid Mission Order are exempt from the fee). Scuba tanks are not accepted for check-in, and musical instruments in soft cases or gig bags are not accepted.
