- Each hand-carry piece max 7 kg (15 lbs) and max dimensions 23 × 36 × 56 cm (9 × 14 × 22 in), total linear 115 cm (45 in) including wheels, handles and side pockets; depth-excessive bags may not fit overhead even if within 115 cm and should be checked.
- In addition, each passenger may carry one personal item max 40 × 30 × 10 cm (16 × 12 × 4 in), total linear 80 cm (32 in) including wheels/handles/side pockets; if personal item exceeds 80 cm it counts as part of standard hand-carry allowance and passenger must check either the hand-carry bag or the personal item.
- Personal-item examples: laptop in thin satchel, purse, small backpack, briefcase, camera case, rain gear, limited duty-free; laptop in larger bag counts as hand-carry.
- Carry-on baggage must be stowable in overhead bin or under seat; overhead bags must allow bins to close without falling; under-seat bags must be secured.
- Rideable smart suitcases exceeding 7 kg or carry-on size must be checked and must comply with lithium battery restrictions.
- Carry-on checks at check-in and boarding gate; if cabin space insufficient, baggage may be checked and excess fees apply if combined with checked baggage exceeds free allowance.

Pricing is zone-based with 6 zones (Taiwan + 5 destination zones). Prices range from USD 126 (Zone 1) to USD 270 (Zone 5) for prepaid purchase. Airport rates are approximately 11% higher. CAD pricing applies for flights departing from Canada.

How do I pay for extra baggage?

Credit card payment only; cardholder must be one of the traveling passengers (some exemptions apply for verified transactions). Fees are charged in USD for most routes, CAD for flights departing from Canada. Some banks may charge international transaction fees.

Can I get a refund on prepaid extra baggage?
