  2. Enter your booking reference (PNR) and last name to retrieve your booking.
  3. Select your flight and add the extra baggage (or overweight baggage) option you need.
  4. Complete the payment online to confirm the extra baggage on your booking.

What are the baggage limits for extra baggage?

Each passenger may carry up to 5 items in total (baggage, special equipment, pets/animals and musical instruments combined). The free checked allowance is 1 piece up to 23 kg on ComfortFlex/Saver fares (2 pieces up to 32 kg in Business); on Light/Flex/Family fares no checked bag is included. Checked bags may weigh up to 32 kg with total dimensions up to 158 cm — anything over 32 kg must be sent as cargo.

What are the overweight and oversized baggage rules?

Checked bags over 23 kg and up to 32 kg are overweight and incur an additional charge (e.g. prepaid additional €10-€40 domestic, €20-€65 international). An extra piece that is also overweight is double charged. Bags up to 32 kg that exceed 158 cm total dimensions are treated as special baggage (€35-€80), and anything over 32 kg must be shipped as cargo.

Can I get a refund for prepaid extra baggage?

Pre-purchased baggage is non-refundable. Refunds are possible only if your flight changes due to cancellations, delays or schedule changes, or in the event of baggage loss. If your flight is rerouted, the prepaid baggage is included in the new ticket, with any price difference charged.

Do codeshare flights have different extra baggage rules?

Yes. On codeshare flights, additional baggage is purchased from the partner airline at the partner's rates, and the discounts offered through online booking on the Olympic Air website do not apply.

Are there any discounts or exceptions for extra baggage?

Pre-purchased additional baggage for passengers travelling under the Family fare has a 50% discount compared with the Light fare. The published baggage policy applies only to flights operated by Olympic Air and AEGEAN aircraft.
