Bags weighing 23–32 kg incur an overweight fee payable only at the airport. Fees range from DKK 410–1000 depending on route and weight tier. Items exceeding 158 cm total dimensions are classified as special baggage. For flights to/from Greenland, the maximum checked baggage weight is 30 kg.

Are there any important exceptions or restrictions I should know about?

Yes. Flights to/from Greenland have a 30 kg max checked baggage weight instead of 32 kg. Beirut-only late purchase fees (less than 22 hours) are DKK 895 / EUR 120 / USD 140, higher than other routes. Special baggage rules on SAS charter flights may differ — check with your tour operator. Electric bicycles must be transported as cargo; tandem bicycles are not accepted.
