  • KrisFlyer Elite Gold / Star Alliance Gold / KrisFlyer Elite Silver members: 1 additional piece, up to 32 kg each on Singapore Airlines-operated flights only.
  • Infant on piece concept: one piece up to 23 kg or 32 kg depending on class of travel (membership extra not eligible for infant) plus one fully collapsible stroller or pushchair and one carry-cot or car seat per infant.
  • If first carrier on booking is not Singapore Airlines for travel originating or ending in Canada/USA, that carrier's baggage policy may apply for whole itinerary on single or conjunction tickets per US DOT rules; if first flight originates on SQ from LAX, SFO, JFK or on a US Airways flight with SQ flight number, SQ policy applies throughout.

Carry-on baggage

    • Baggage must be stowable securely in overhead compartment or under seat in front; Singapore Airlines retains sole discretion whether baggage is permitted in cabin or must be checked.
    • If cabin baggage exceeds limits, it will be collected and stored in aircraft cargo compartment; excess charges may apply if combined weight/pieces with checked baggage exceeds free checked allowance (exception: baby strollers).
    • ONE additional item permitted free in addition to cabin allowance (subject to country restrictions): ladies' handbag, camera/camera bag, document bag, overcoat, umbrella, laptop/notebook in bag, infant amenities and food for onboard consumption (total not exceeding 6 kg), walking stick/crutches/prosthetic devices, small amount of duty-free goods where permitted.
    • Items marked *: maximum dimensions 40 x 30 x 10 cm each; if total dimensions exceed 80 cm, counted as part of standard cabin baggage allowance and passenger must check either cabin bag or additional item.
