Steps
- Go to swiss.com and click 'My bookings'.
- Enter your booking code and last name, or log in with your Travel ID (Lufthansa Group credentials).
- Select your booking from the list.
- Choose 'Add baggage' or 'Optional baggage' option.
- Select the number of additional bags and complete payment.

Pre-registration required for more than 4 bags per reservation. Maximum weight 23 kg (Economy) or 32 kg (Business/First). Bags over 32 kg must be sent as freight via Swiss WorldCargo. Maximum dimensions 158 cm total.
How does SWISS calculate extra baggage charges?
SWISS uses zone-based pricing with six route zones from Within Switzerland (lowest) to Long-haul intercontinental (highest). Economy online purchase is cheapest. Overweight and oversized surcharges apply on top of the base fee.
What are the overweight and oversized baggage rules?
