Delta Main and Delta Comfort — no free checked bag on domestic U.S. routes; international allowance varies by destination, fare brand and ticket purchase date and is shown via Baggage Calculator / My Trips.

- Carry-on bag: Combined length + width + height must not exceed 45 linear inches (114 cm); individual dimensions may not exceed 22″ x 14″ x 9″ (56 cm × 35 cm × 23 cm) including handles or wheels (except small musical instruments that fit in overhead or under-seat space).
- Personal item: 1 purse, briefcase, small backpack, belt bag/fanny pack, camera bag, diaper bag, or laptop bag (computers cannot be checked unless directed by security) or similar smaller size that fits under seat in front of you.
- Additional items free to carry on in addition to carry-on + personal item: jacket and/or umbrella, food or drink purchased past security checkpoint, bag or box of duty-free merchandise, and special items like strollers, wheelchairs, child safety seats or assistive devices (e.g., crutches).
- On Delta Connection flights with 50 seats or less, only personal items permitted on board due to limited overhead space; larger carry-ons will be gate-checked free with pink Gate Claim/Planeside tag and returned on deplaning.
