How many extra bags can I buy, and what are the bag limits?
Maximum checked baggage allowance is 40 kg per passenger. No single bag can weigh more than 32 kg. Baggage allowance is by combined weight, not number of bags. Business Class includes 30 kg; can purchase up to an additional 10 kg. Economy fares can purchase up to 40 kg. For JQ/GK connecting flights, the higher baggage allowance applies to the entire itinerary.

How can I pay for extra baggage?
Payment fees apply depending on method (0.48%-1.75% by card type). Fee-free options include PayID, Jetstar voucher, Jetstar Gift Card, and Qantas Points Plus Pay.
Do partner-airline or codeshare flights have different baggage rules?
For JQ/GK connecting flights, the higher baggage allowance applies to the entire itinerary. For domestic-to-international connections, international rates apply to the entire flight.
