Steps
- Go to thaiairways.com and navigate to Manage My Booking, or open the THAI mobile app.
- Retrieve your booking using your booking reference.
- Select the option to add excess baggage.
- Choose the weight in 5 kg increments.
- Complete payment. An Electronic Miscellaneous Document (EMD) will be issued as confirmation.

Is it cheaper to buy extra baggage online vs at the airport?

Do partner-operated or codeshare flights have different baggage rules?
Online excess baggage is only valid for TG-operated flights. Not applicable for group bookings, waitlisted passengers, infants, or mileage-upgrade passengers.
