In addition, for every infant or child travelling with you, you can bring up to two of the following items for free (check at Bag Drop or gate, collect at reclaim): travel cot, pushchair, double pushchair, buggy, car seat, collapsible or non-collapsible pram, booster seat, baby back carrier.

How to Add Extra Baggage & Prices on easyJet

  1. Go to easyJet Manage Bookings page.
  2. Enter your booking reference (6-character code) and passenger surname(s), then click 'Find Booking'.
  3. Alternatively, sign in with your easyJet account if you have one.
  4. Once logged in, select your booking and look for 'Add hold luggage' or 'Bags' section.
  5. Choose the weight option you need: 15kg, 23kg, 26kg, 29kg, or 32kg.
  6. Select the number of bags you need.
  7. Complete payment online.
  8. If you've already checked in, reprint your boarding passes after adding bags.

Can I buy extra baggage online after booking?

Yes. Hold luggage can be added at initial booking, post-booking via Manage Bookings, or during online check-in.

Where do I buy extra baggage?

Purchase online via Manage Bookings, during online check-in, or at the airport bag drop desk. Twilight Bag Drop is available at selected airports for early morning flights. Airportr collection service is available from London Gatwick and Geneva.

When should I buy extra baggage?

Buy online as early as possible for the best price. Online purchase applies to all sectors on your booking (both outbound and return). If you need hold luggage for only one sector, this can only be purchased at the airport.

How do online prices compare to airport prices?

Online purchase is always cheaper than airport purchase. Airport hold luggage costs GBP 55 per item. Additional weight (3kg increments) can only be purchased online.

How many extra bags can I buy, and what are the limits?

Each customer (including children and infants) can purchase up to 3 hold bags per flight. Standard weight options: 15kg, 23kg, 26kg, 29kg, or 32kg. Maximum single bag weight is 32kg and maximum total size is 275cm. Family and friends on the same booking can pool total weight allowance across bags.

Can I get a refund on hold luggage?

No. Once hold luggage is booked, refunds are not available if you change your mind.

How does easyJet calculate hold luggage charges?

Online pricing is dynamic and varies by demand, route, flight date, and time of booking. Airport purchase has a fixed rate of GBP 55 per item. Online purchase is always cheaper than airport purchase.

What are the overweight baggage rules?

Excess weight is charged at GBP 12 per kg when hold items weigh more than the pre-booked weight. Additional weight can be added in 3kg increments (up to GBP 15 per 3kg) online only, up to 32kg maximum per bag.

How do I pay for extra baggage?

Credit and debit cards accepted free of charge (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, etc.). No information available on paying with miles or points.

Are there any exceptions for hold luggage?

Smart luggage: lithium batteries or power banks must be removed and taken into the cabin at Bag Drop. If unable to remove, the bag will not be accepted. Hold luggage purchased online applies to all sectors; single-sector luggage can only be purchased at the airport.
