Maximum 10 bags total per passenger (including free checked allowance). Each bag max 23 kg standard, 32 kg absolute maximum. Max dimensions 90 x 75 x 43 cm.
How does Virgin Atlantic calculate extra baggage charges?
Flat-rate pricing per bag per direction, with higher rates for 3rd and 4th bags. Fees are charged in the currency of the departure location (GBP, USD, CAD, or EUR).
What are the overweight and oversized baggage rules?
Overweight (23-32 kg): GBP 65/USD 100 per piece. Oversized (exceeding 90x75x43 cm): GBP 200/USD 300 per piece. Bags over 32 kg cannot be accepted as checked baggage.
