  1. Go to flypeach.com and click '予約確認/変更' (Manage Booking), or go directly to manage.flypeach.com.
  2. Enter your booking reference number and registered surname to retrieve your reservation.
  3. Select '受託手荷物' (Checked Baggage) from the available options.
  4. Choose the number of checked bags and any additional options (overweight, oversized, priority return).
  5. Review the total fee and complete payment online via credit card or Peach Points.
  6. The purchased baggage allowance will be linked to your booking and reflected in your itinerary.

How does Peach calculate extra baggage charges?

Peach uses a zone-based pricing system. Domestic routes have a single flat rate. International routes are divided into 4 zones (A–D) based on destination. Prices also vary by fare type (Minimal, Standard, Standard Plus) and purchase channel. Standard and Standard Plus fares include 1 free checked bag (20 kg) per person; Minimal fare does not.

Is it cheaper to buy extra baggage online in advance vs at the airport?

Yes. Purchasing via the website is significantly cheaper than at the contact center or airport counter. For example, on domestic routes, a bag costs JPY 2,000 online vs JPY 3,100 at the airport. The same channel-based price difference applies across all routes and baggage options.

How many extra bags can I buy, and what are the bag limits?

Each passenger can check up to 5 pieces total. Maximum weight per piece is 20 kg (32 kg with the overweight option). Maximum total weight is 100 kg per person. Dimensions limit: 3-side sum ≤ 203 cm (up to 204+ cm with oversized option, max per side H80/W80/D230 cm).

What are the overweight or oversized baggage rules?

Overweight (20–32 kg) and oversized (3-side sum 204 cm+) options incur additional fees on top of the standard checked baggage fee. These options can be purchased via all channels. Bags over 32 kg or exceeding per-side limits (H80/W80/D230 cm) cannot be accepted. Oversized bags are not eligible for priority return.

Can I pay for extra baggage with cards, loyalty points, or other methods?

Payment via the website can be made by credit card or Peach Points. At Japanese airport counters, barcode payment (excluding d払い) is also accepted. Contact center purchases are paid via the website.

Can I get a refund or transfer extra baggage if I cancel or change my booking?

Purchased checked baggage and optional services are non-refundable and cannot be transferred. If you change your flight, the previously purchased baggage does not carry over and you must purchase it again for the new flight.

Are there any important exceptions or restrictions I should know?

Peach does not offer through-check-in for connecting flights — baggage must be collected and rechecked at each transit point. Pets, insects, and live animals cannot be carried. Mobile batteries are prohibited in checked baggage.
